 Hello, I am William Perri, and I was born and raised in Fort Myers, Florida. I grew up fishing off Sanibel island and The Caloosahatchee, I had three brothers so we would go out and fish often, being the mechanically inclined brother I would create rafts and dinghies for us to go out and fish on. At 17 years old I bought a project boat to rebuild on my own and I basically taught myself through researching online and YouTube videos, as I was building the skiff I fell in love with building boats and I knew this was my future. I then took photos of my finished work and brought it to a local fabrication company and asked for a job, I was with them for 5 years and when I turned 22 I started Billy The Kid Boatworks. I have been extremely proud of everything we have been able to create and bring back to life! What makes Billy The Kid Boatworks different is that you get that custom touch, and it’s a very intimate building experience for the customer.
